How the price is built
Enter the slicer material and print time for the entire job. Quantity divides the job price into a per-piece estimate; it does not multiply your costs.
- Filament uses grams and a spool price per gram. Resin uses a bottle price per milliliter. If your resin slicer reports grams, density converts grams to milliliters.
- Supports are added to model usage, then waste is applied to both. If your slicer total already includes supports, enter zero extra supports.
- Failure allowance uses expected retries: printing cost × failure rate ÷ (1 − failure rate). It repeats material, machine time, and electricity only. Add any expected repeat labor to your labor minutes.
- Machine rate covers wear and ownership. Electricity and labor are separate; keep them out of the machine rate to avoid counting them twice.
- Fees combine your marketplace and payment percentages plus one fixed fee per order. All shipping and handling costs are included in the job selling price.
- Margin is profit ÷ selling price before sales tax. Markup is profit ÷ production and fulfillment cost. Both targets are calculated after selling fees.
- Retail and wholesale use the same job costs with independent targets. For a batch quote, update the job totals and quantity first.
- Sales tax is added to the selling price and excluded from profit. Enable fees on tax if your processor charges fees on tax collected. This is a configurable estimate, not a jurisdiction-specific tax engine.
- Prices round upward to your increment. Without an increment they round up to the nearest cent. Small differences can occur when a marketplace rounds individual fees.
Pricing formulas
Let C be job cost, F the fixed fee, and f the combined percentage fee as a decimal (multiplied by 1 + tax rate when fees apply to tax).
Margin price = (C + F) ÷ (1 − f − target).
Markup price = (C × (1 + target) + F) ÷ (1 − f).
Offline, desktop, and phone
Desktop: open PrintPrice.html directly. No installation, internet, or account is needed. Some browsers restrict saving from local files; a warning will appear if storage is unavailable.
Phone / installable app: open the web edition from a static HTTPS host, then use your browser’s Install app or Add to Home Screen option. Open it once online to cache it; later visits can work offline. On iPhone use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. Local HTML attachments are not a reliable way to run apps on phones.
No analytics, external fonts, external libraries, or network services. Clearing browser data removes local records. Private browsing may discard data when closed.

License & support
Your purchase covers use by one person or one business on its own devices. You may sell prints and share the quotes you create. Do not resell or redistribute the app, its files, or buyer access. No subscription or activation account is required.
Contact the seller shown on your purchase receipt through your original purchase channel for setup, file-access, or reproducible calculation problems. Include the version, browser, steps, and expected result. Remove customer details from examples. Custom development, accounting advice, and guaranteed future updates are not included.
Refund and consumer rights follow the terms shown at purchase, applicable law, and marketplace rules. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded. Your downloaded copy is independent of continued hosting; online hosting is not guaranteed forever.
Your calculations stay in this browser. The hosting provider may process routine connection logs when serving the web app. Exported files contain the data you choose to include.
